My fiance' has been vomitting for the past 2 weeks. He is sick to his stomach every morning. He has been to the doctor, and they gave him medicine to reduce the acid in his stomach, but that is not helping. Do you think he should just go to the hospital? He dosent want to lose his job? Thanks

yes he should go to the doctor and get the full work up. Call the doctor and tell them the symptoms are not resolved and you need to be seen soon.
It sounds like BAD acid reflux if it's only in the morning. It sounds like he was treated with a proton pump inhibitor like protonix or nexium.
He will probably need an endoscopy, because the medicine didn't work. You are mildly sedated and a camera was put down your throat. With visualization they will be able to tell what is wrong, i.e. chronic inflammation. Get checked out, it's probably nothing but you need to make sure.

Vomiting for two weeks.... The doctor should have sent him to the hospital !!!
There are far to many things that could cause this.
A common one would be a bleeding ulcer.
Have him go and if possible catch a small sample to take with you so they can test it for blood.

I suffered from that for a while when I was under stress. It was gastro-esophageal reflux and I vomited all the time, especially in the mornings and if I eat anything fatty. It went away by itself after the stress got less.
