It's perfectly normal. It isn't rape unless you told him to stop after you woke up. I personally like it that way too. You are completely relaxed when asleep and are there for more receptive, especially if you have trouble relaxing enough to have sex when you are awake. There have been times that my bf has tried to have sex during the day when I am awake and I just couldn't get in the mood for it. But then when he tried after I went to sleep I woke up hot and ready!

It is a bit abnormal but not quite. It is possible that he may hurt you if he will just penetrate you.
