happiness and sorrow come and go. guess what matters is whether you have joy. joy is something much more deeper which situations cannot touch..

I don't think anyone is truly happy in their lifetime. There is always one thing that they want that they can't have. It could be a dream job that they have no chance of getting, it could be good looks, a dream spouse, perfect kids, whatever! This dream they keep locked inside themselves and don't tell anyone. It's a secret and it is the thing or things that keep them from being truly happy.

God Bless

I believe that if someone is with the person they want to be with, in the location, or living situation that pleases them. Then, yes, they can be truly happy. They may not want more in life. They might even say that they have the perfect lifestyle.

Yes, dear... It takes accepting that you don't need very much, loving yourself and being thankful for what you have. Most focus on what they do not have and stay in a negative/greedy kind of mind set. I listen to the rain and instead of thinking..."aw man, I'm gonna get wet!", ...I think instead that the trees are thankful for a drink. Our perspectives need to change to the glasses being half full instead of half empty. Only then will you start to understand and "identify" what happiness really means.

Life has up and downs. there will be moments such as when you walk into a surprise b-day party and all of your friends are there. And then there are times when everything goes wrong. Whenever I have those bad moments i jsut tell myself that a good moment is coming real soon.
