gmail messenger is very simple, not as good as msn or yahoo. however, it is not even a messenger that you have to download, you only need to log in to your email account and you will find the names of your contacts on the left side of the page with a green light beside the names of those that are online. i do not recommend it, but for an email account gmail is the best ever... i would send you an invitation, just give me your email address.

Yes there is a Gmail messenger & it is called Google Talk. It is ok for a type-chat but not great if you are considering voice chat. Well, it is better you ask someone nearby you for the invite. Who would invite you without personally knowing you?

There is no need for any messengers when u have gmail the messenger is builtin with gmail. For invitations mail me vyvaks@gmail.com

in Gmail there is one software just like messenger but they call in google if u want to get one account for urself then send a offline message to me my yahoo add in nepaliof1989@yahoo.com and i will send u an invitation
and another what google called its chat is just found in google site as a option as inbox in yahoo n hotmail

Yes there is a stand-alone client called google talk. If you do not like their client, you can use any client that uses the Jabber protocol such as gAIM (search on gaim google talk for setup instructions)

its for gmail users only and it works in the gmail window..as its not any standalone kind of like yahoo
