how do you know when you are in the wrong field?

I think I have entered a wrong career path.I am a maths fanatic and i am studying accounting.The thing I can't seem to enjoy accounting as I did with maths.Have I entered the wrong field of study?

Accounting also has maths in it...does it not??? You can go for CA or you can do MCA..
