hey umm....i have this best friend who i guess is hotter than me n stuff....and she keeps tyin ta indirectly say im ugly....when im not!!!(at least i dont think im ugly!!) and it hurts real bad....and if i go upto her and confront then she'll prob deny it....and then ill be the bad guy!!! what should i do???( i still dont wana lose her as my best friend)

What should be concerning you in this matter should not be whether or not your friend thinks you are ugly, but why you want to hang out with her when you feel she is hurting you.
Being beautiful or ugly has never been a prerequisite for friendship. At least not that I know of. So the deal probably is that she probably thinks that you will ruin her rep hanging out with her or something. Either that, or she revels in the fact that she is apparently "hotter" than you and because she is so insecure about your other superior abilities and her own glaring faults, she chooses this way to feel good about herself.
She is a deeply unhappy individual either way, that probably only has her looks to feel good about and so she tried to press the point home.
So you have two choices, either you stop hanging out with her for being rude (after all, it is ill mannered of her to speak thus even if it is her prerogative to have an opinion on your beauty), or you can consider it a charitable work of mercy and LET her hang out with you and try to improve her self image by hoping that she is better than someone at something.
Let me guess... you are probably the one everyone knows is smarter. You are probably also the one with the better personality right? LOL.
Whatever course of action you decide to take, remember than she needs you more than you need her and never ever let her try to convince you different.
Keep your head up girl, coz there are worse things. Imagine for a minute that you were her. The horror.

She's not a very good friend, really, but if you really don't want to lose her then tell her how you feel, even though she might deny it, at least she will know that she hurt you and hopefully that will play on her conscience and she'll stop putting you down.
You really shouldn't take what she says to heart, people who put you down for no reason are usually jealous, its not because you really are ugly, you just have something she wants.

A best friend wouldn't call you ugly.They wouldn't hurt your feelings and ask like nothing. A friend doesn't put another friend down to make them feel better.You need to rethink the definition of a best friend with this person.A best friend should never put you down or make you have doubts about even being friends.Hope all goes well.

Just check is she consider u as best friend too. If she really is then she wants u to become beautiful. But what I think is that atleast best friend don't say that even indirectly.

you know what? , if she says ur "ugly" which i doubt u r , she probably feels threatned by u , and if she doesnt make u feel good then shes probably not ur best friend, and she feels better about her self by pointing out that shes better than u , dont ever let ppl treat u like that . i sure u could do better, good luck xD

you should think positive and think you are good looking, then you can come out of this problem. Ignore your best friend, she will come back to you.

mm..i wud suggest that u act that u hv accepted that ur ugly(just pretend!!!),then show her wat r ur capabilities,in wat u r best,n she is not ,catch on her boy frnd make sure u woo max boys in front of her(i m sure u can do that)then may be she'll feel guilty of wat she had done to u!do it all calmly n with serenity!okay!
