If you need to tell someone that they need to get a nose job, what is the best way to do it?

Maybe I could also send anonymous note about big nose?

Everytime you see him or her ask, "Is that your nose or are you eating a banana?" Eventually, they will get a complex and feel really awful about themselves and then, just maybe, they'll think about getting that nose job that you think they need.

Actually, I think it's sad that you would even think about this, despite my joke (above), I don't think that you are a very nice person to even contemplate..let alone ask how, to tell someone something of this nature.

Ok no matter who is going to admit this or not I all believe we have wicked thoughts like this. I know someone that I think really needs to wash her hair!! It still isn't a good idea to bring it up with the person. You may believe that you are trying to
"help" them but you could do so much hurt to them in the long run and damage their self esteem. It really isn't worth it. If your friend is happy with the way they look you will have to except them. Be happy for them that they have such great confidence! EVERYONE has something beautiful about them. Focus on that when you are with your friend! :o) Who knows, someone may be in love with that nose! If your friend ever talks about how her/his nose may make her feel bad then you may be able to discreetly suggest plastic surgery but really think about the situation and if it would be an appropriate thing to say! Friend First, Nose Second! That's your new motto.... lol

Consider the following as well:

1. Is it someone you are VERY close to, and can take that sort of critisism?

2. Are they financially stable enough to afford one?

3. Do they seem to care what their appearance is?

4. Is it your business? Are you embarassed to be seen with them because of their schnoz?

Here are suggestions if you say yes to these:

1. Gently approach the subject and say something like, "I have considered plastic surgery. What do you think?" and go from there.

2. If they are, make sure they won't go to the dogs because of such an expense.

3. If they do, then perhaps a spa/makeover day is more appropriate. And it is a hell of a lor cheaper.

4. If it is your business, just remember to open to other's critisism as well.

Don't tell them. That's just not appropriate. If they decide to have a nose job on their own, that is fine. But to just blatantly point out other people's imperfections is extremely rude. How would you like it if she started pointing out your imperfections? I'm guessing you wouldn't be too happy. No one likes to be insulted.

If you don't want to make enemies, don't say anything about rhinoplasty. If the person needs a nose job, let that person decide.

tell the person about something you want to change about yourself through plastic surgurye, then ask the person what he/she would like to change and start working the conversation up till you get to the point about him/her getting a nose job.

"excuse me...i'm sorry to interrupt you, hon...but...(pause to clear throat)...i really think that you should look into some cosmetic surgery."

(the person yells or swears)

"no no...no your boobs are fine. no...your nose...it kinda...well...it's not pretty. it's ranging on poking someone's eye out."

(more yelling)

"no...no i'm not rude mam. just honest. have a nice day"

hehe...10 points i deserve for that nice little play. :) at the least i hope you laughed!

being a guy, I'm afraid I'd be rather insensitive about it. but then, I probably wouldn't notice the nose anyway.

Don't, it's just your opinion, maybe you need a brain transplant and nobody told you yet.
