There is no way to cut off Kikyo from InuYasha's life. It would just pull him away from Kagome as well since Kagome herself is a reincarnation of Kikyo. It would take a lot of courage, but I guess I'd just have to let everything play itself out and trust InuYasha not to make any foolish choices. I'd try to focus on getting the sacred jewel because then maybe Kikyo could rest in peace, and I'd have InuYasha to myself forever.

First of all kagome doesn't want to cut off kikio out of InuYasha's life
Secondly no one can delete memories of first love from anyone's mind
Thirdly Inu Yasha is more possessive about kagome and loves her more

i would never be Kagome retard....but if i was her i wouldn't do anything b/c i hate that Inuyasha X Kagome stuff....i wish she die....only thing i hate in Inuyasha...Kagome must die!
