one place, e-bay. their are TONS of cell phones on there and they are pretty darn cheap. thats where i bought my kyocera for $30, brand new. verizon was going to charge me $150.00.

Best deal and lack of "dead" areas are two different things. Cingular has horrible reception in my rural area of NY and we use it for business purposes. I've found that Verizon is best for fewer dropped or lost calls and fewer "no reception" areas. They also have a better cost deal if your family and friends are Verizon customers.
