I've sold Avon for many years and good customer service is what made my sales higher, Also if a customer gives you an order for a relative or a friend, give them 10% commision of the subtotal for their friend's order. It's better than giving them a free product they really may not want. That will also encourage them to continue to show people their book so they can get more commision. But don't call it a commisson because they may shy away, just call it a discount. Avon gives back as much as you put in to it. Good luck

Okay you have to be creative in sales. I would make up little folders witha catolog, business card, order form, and maybe a free perfume sample or promotional sample. You typically know who to approach and who not to approach.
Once a month throw avon parties. Invite about 8-10people however many you would like maybe people in neighborhood, pta members or anyone. At the party have refreshments and have some of your products set up for hands on showcases and a couple of catalogs to go through giving details about the products. Also have a point in the party where you and your guest try some of the products out to give customers reassurance of the merchandise. At the time allow time for people to make purchases, also this is your chance to recruit new workers, and have incentives or offer a gift certificate of free products for people who may want you to host a party at their home. Receive information from people who are interested in future parties so That way you build up your customer database. You just have to be creative with sales. Good Luck

particular organisation are actually not made for particular human beings. earlier you sale it to somebody else, think of that would u purchase it on the fee u r offering the place all different huge-unfold manufacturers available at retail is accessible at a lot less expensive? i might by no ability sale or motivate anybody to get in organisation like Amway, avon ...... i think of this businesses have very extreme markup and it can not b a protracted term organisation except if u r a good sales person. maximum folk purchase from u because of the fact they prefer u or they have faith u or they decide for to help u. yet they do no longer seem to be stupid that they're going to save procuring at very extreme fee. now so a techniques as sales is going, u can do many stuff, connect diverse businesses, attend interior of reach activities or commerce shows etc.

I used to be an RA, and every year around midterms or finals or the Holidays, we'd have an avon/mary kay or body shop consultant come in to do a program with our residents. They could unwind by "playing" with makeup, or shop for the holidays. If you have any local universities around or know of any college students, it seems like it would be a great resource to tap into. These were typically my most successful programs and the sales always seemed to be good.

I suggest that you promote selling the AVON at your workplace or at local areas that you shop...for instance....if you are a local & frequent customer at a grocery store I'm sure they wouldnt mind if you promoted your sales by posting a few flyers up advertising makeup and things of that nature. In addtion if you are an excellent makeup artist or love to try you can also promote your ability as a makeup artist(although you may not be :-)

I struggled with this myself & gave up. What is needed is a large customer interest with money to spend on Avon. Hard to find. You can do advertising in the classifieds of your local paper but there's no guarantee.
The only success story I personally know: My 25 year old daughter-in-law excels in it. She speaks fluent Spanish & English & has cornered the Spanish-speaking market in her area in Northern Virginia.

lots of people, like myself, go on line because no one approaches them about selling it. If I see a catalogue and some samples, then I am more likely to buy from a rep. So always keep those with you and show your friends and family and also wearing their products will sell them....like beautifully colored lip colors and eye shadows, good smelling colognes and tanning products that look good....that's the best way to sell... good luck!
