It is a very good idea.The idea is to keep education to all rich,poor,working,ladies of the house (commonly called housewives-home makers)open through coaching on line and a limited contact classes.Because a country can not have as many schools,colleges and universities as desired by aspirants, this is to be encouraged.
Such "open" universities should not be allowed to make it a profit making business.

This is a wrong choice. This type of learning keep a person miles away from learning, and so called distance from learning.
