Getting it done doesn't really hurt but after I had mine done it got infected and got all swollen so the belly button ring got stuck in my belly button and had to be taken out which was excruciatingly sore. I washed my belly in salt and water three times a day every day and it still managed to get infected- totally not worth it

no, bit like a bee sting does not last long and does not really hurt after either, they numb the area before, i had mine pierced but thought i went to a good place as it turned out he pierced it abit to low so the ball on the end stayed stuck in my belly button and kept getting infected, i went somewhere else to ask them and they told me it was cause it was to low and it kept getting infected due to pressure and was about to be rejected and fall out, they told me to take it out or i would be scared which i did, i had to wait 6 months for it to heel properly and go back and have it re pierced which i did and its brilliant love it, so please becareful where you do to get it done, i would ask people on here where locally you can get it done

Getting any piercing will hurt a bit. Although the pain normally only lasts for a coupla seconds, so it's never something to worry about.

It all depends what's the objective behind it, if u r in love with me, and i will do it for u, then u won't feel any pain just a sweet sensations. So shall i try to do it for u, but i have to pierce somewhere else with my tool.

It's a bearble pain, bit like if you've ever given or had blood taken,
When i got mine done, i thought the clamp thing they put on hurt more than the actual peircing,

no it doesn't hurt at all. i didn't feel a thing. they nub that area. it hurt me more when i got my ears pierced. but i guess everyone is different. it might sting for a bit after it is done. but just keep it clean and it shouldn't give you any problems.

Well I went with my gf when she had hers done, and her scream woke the people in the next town I think...but then she is a bit of a wuss...but it looked like it hurt anyway.

When i had mine done, it did hurt a bit but no more than getting your ears piered. Its worth it in the end!

no i can honestly say it didnt hurt having it done, it was numbed first. however, the infection i got afterwards did hurt! i changed from a bar to a ring and it went!
