i have a gto n/a and am thinking of boring her out a bit as i want to increse the torque and power - i have a twin turbo too so i dont want to go down that route.
ive done all the normal thing improved breathing etc and am intending to do some work on the head as well
Has any one on here gone down a sililar route

No not personally but I would rather do everything else I can to beef it up a bit before considering a re bore. Re bore tend to make your engine life shorter wich in the long run will cost you more money. But get someone who has done similar jobs like this before and let them go through all the ins and outs with you.

You need to see a specialist about this. Boring this engine may not give you the best results and as the other person said, it may shorten the engine life dramatically. It is already a performance tuned engine I personally would not bore this unit, just a few modifications maybe. I know its just a lump of metal, but a lot of expert engineering goes into the design of these lumps of metal.

To increse the torque and power on turbo engines,I suggest you
retrofitting a after cooler.
