Click Start-Run- type 'msconfig' (without the'') and click ok. System configuration utility will open. Click on 'Startup' tab. Uncheck the box of the program you wish to stop from starting with Windows and click apply. Close all and restart computer. When restarting a message will appear. Just tell it not to show message anymore. You'll understand what i mean when u see it :-)

go into the start menu and select right click explore on the startup icon. You will have to remove shortcuts from the all users startup folder as well as from your own user's area startup folder. Do not change any folder names. Also, many of the programs that remain starting up can be reprogrammed in their own settings not to join the taskbar on startup as well as in run, msconfig.exe

sometimes its in the application settings. try to look at your application which opens on start up then turn off any setup which says "start at start-up" or anything like that. also look at your start menu. click start/program/startup... just delete them. another option is run msconfig. go to start/run then type msconfig. you will see startup tab then unchecked programs which you think that annoy you every time you run your PC.

try removing it from the startup menu, or see if theres a setting within the program itself ususally under properties, or options.
