what are the consequences of smoke & alcohol when you are just one week or two pregnant

Lots of people accidentally smoke or drink before they know they are pregnant. It usually doesn't harm the baby. The harm comes when people continue drinking and/or smoking during their pregnancy. My friend smoked for her whole pregnancy, her baby had a low birth weight and he is almost 4 now and is a little bit delayed, she thinks it's because she smoked. I'm not sure it is, it could be other factors, but still it's better to be safe than sorry. Don't worry, just eat healthy, do what your Dr. tells you and focus on the wonders of pregnancy instead of worrying the whole time about this.

It just depends on your body. I had a friend that smoked, drank and everything else until she found out that she was pregnant. But that was like a month or or so into her pregnancy. I beleive that if you stop or cut down while you are pregnant you should be alright. But on the other hand my mother had smoked with my older sister and she is fine. She is healthy as a hog. LOL.

nothing......when you find out stop!!!! But they say the first 3 months are critical to the health of a fetus.

But i won't lie i smoked the entire time i was pregnant and my son was and is healthy

at 1 or 2 weeks how would you no you was pregnant
but if you are then it can cause birthdefect and even kill the baby happen to my sister

at one are 2 weeks i didnt realize i was pregnant. and i drinked. but if you know you are preganent i wouldnt do it. thats the most important stage of the devlopment of a unborn
