If the relationship is meant to be - it will be a two way thing.
I would do anything for my man, truly, he is wonderful and has helped me through some very difficult times. His mother has just died, and now it is my turn, and I've had to learn that making sacrifices is a huge part of a relationship.
If it is true love, they won't feel so much like sacrifices, more like helping each other mutually.

I dont think when we are making sacrifices we think of them that way if we are in love. We are giving a gift out of love. The real sacrifices are when we have to take care of a terminally ill spouse and dont get any real return except knowing that if they were well they would do the same for us.

We do not HAVE to make sacrifices for the ones we love. If we truly love them, it is a pleasure to make them happy even if it means sacrificing something ourselves.

There are two aspects: Firstly if you think that you are sacrificing a particular thing for your LOVE then it means that you love that paricular thing more than your LOVE. Secondly, if you sacrify any thing for your LOVE then you will never think that what you did was sacrifice. See, if you love then this kind of feeling never comes in but if your love is not that true then you might think in this manner.

because we want the best of them and we dont want to hurt them..we do and give everything to satisfy they needs just to make them happy..even this things can kill us just to show how much we love them.thats why we sacrifice for the one we love.

You don't have to. If they expect you to make sacrifices then they have to too. Truthfully I think it's all selfish and unjust.

I don't know exactly!
But often, we got the drive to do so and it makes us feel we really love our love ones!!!
