Anything by Mercedes Lackey is excellent, as is anything by Anne McCaffrey. Two of the best writers ever.

The Psion series by Joan Vinge is great, as is the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. Miles Vorkosigan, by Lois McMaster Bujold, is a fabulous character.

David Eddings is really good, his Sparhawk books are great. Terry Brooks Shannara series is excellent.

Also, I think you're probably too young for the Marquis De Sade, wait til you're 21.

Jane Fonda = My Life So Far! Although men are great, women are raised from the time they're age two til age 200 dreaming and thinking and planning to find a man: that nothing is more important in this world except finding a man! They can learn from this book that we CAN be happy and have a fulfilling and wonderful life even if, by any chance, we don't find a man! You can actually discover that you don't NEED a man after all! (Men are great, this isn't mean to down them, just to say we don't HAVE to have a man to be happy. You can free yourself by understanding this!

Don't know if you've read it or seen the movie, but I really enjoyed "Memoirs of a Geisha". I have read and seen them both. The movie is good, but the book is sooooooooo much better. I don't know what race you are, but it was nice to read about one other than my own. Just a thought. Enjoy whatever book you do read though. Just keep this one in mind. Take care.
