You might try to show her pictures of women who have tanned too much. Let her see the way it effects her skin. And also show her pictures of skin cancer and the damage it can do. The pictures should be easy to find on the web. Good luck!

Im not a teen and im not a mum. Why dont you want her to tan. As long as you advise her to tan properly...so that it doesnt damage her skin, let her be. Shes a teenager, the more you tell her not to....you know how it works!

tell her that it can cause skin cancer, and now that being tan is in, teens are getting it to. tell her that she is killing herself, but don't do it to the point where it gets annoying. my dad is always telling me to walk around in the shade when i go to the mall and reapply sunblock at school, etc. it got so annoying to the point where i just purposely tanned to piss him off. buy her self tanner that works or take her to a spray tanning booth.

Warn her (I'm assuming a girl) of skin cancer.. and exactly how different she's going to look in about 20 years when that skin starts to wrinkle and crackle. It adds years to your appearence.

Learn brainwashing, honey; and get him/her to think s/he thought of it.

I haven't had an argument with my wife in 2 years; don't need to, she does everything I say. [smile]

In psychology, it is called SUPPLY CHAIN, we all have a supply chain and we listen to that, try to find her supply chain, it could be her friend, her teacher, TV character when you find it, approach to her in her supply chain mode, she will listen to you.
