An utter shambles - the band is more of a pantomime these days, not even wheeling Izzy Stradlin' out for 4 songs could raise the standard. To be fair, when they played they were ok - but 3 guitarists doing what 2 used to do comfortably is a bit excessive. And none of them are as good as Slash anyway....

Think twice before going to see them on their upcoming UK tour...

They must be willing to help Axel get some more money. Axel didnt save very much when GnR were the Big Thing. He had to breifly take a job at a 7-11 in order to make ends meet several years ago. The rest of GnR have found a gig, Velvet Revolver, and are doing ok. GnR really kicked *ss and kept rock from dying and revitalized it for a while. Then Nirvana killed it.

Pretty shambolic. While some of the stories going round recount pretty abusive heckling at the front, they should be able to deal with that - quoting "technical difficulties" then wandering off, being disinterested when they came backa then wandering off again... not the way to deal at all.

As it was, the musicians could play the songs adequately, Axl couldn't sing them adequately, and the only high points were a storming My Michelle (with a random guest singer - any ideas who he was?), and the final Paradise City.

And the new songs were a bit poor, to say the least.

Far from triumphant.

They reformed? I bet not an all original line up though. Doesn't matter , if Axl is still in, there might as well be a disclaimer printed on the back of tickets: "remember - same as before - plan to show up at the venue 2 hrs. after the band is scheduled to go on - Axl will be ready by then"

well according to the reviews they didn't seem to make that much of an impression .that's a bit of a downer though, was thinking of seeing them at Birmingham cause the London gig is sold out. guess I'll have to think twice now.

Nothing beats the original line up. If you want a trip down memory lane, it was OK but nothing beats the real thing.
