Being an immigrant myself, I have always wondered what white people think about brown people (Indians). Please give a frank opinion, no hard feelings. Thanks.

From Vancouver Canada, I am a so-called white person, although I have some Iroquois blood from about 250 years ago (we have been in North America for 300 years) and all I have to say is that you and all other people on this planet are my brothers and sisters and I believe strongly in the concept that there is only one race, and that is the Human Race. In Vancouver we have many people who have come here from the sub-continent of India and I find knowing them enriches my life along with all the other people who come here from other lands to start a new life. Salaam, Namaste and Sasrikal (hope I spelled those greetings right).

Every one that Ive met is hard working and usually white-collared. That is to say in a professional field of training, like a doctor or lawyer. This helps to give them a better impression on the public than other immigrants who work as unskilled labor. I think I like the way that their women dress. Very colorful.

Frankly I like most of the ones I've met. Some can be real pills, but that is true of human beings period. On thewhole I prefer to judge people by their behavior and interactions with me. Bring em on black, brown, red, yellow and white, They all have the opportunity to be decent caring folks. Mostly I wind up with *******. Megan

I think their a small minority of immigrants. It seems like all of the ones I've seen are involved in some technical field... mostly my professors. Are all Indians smart like that?

I find that most are very nice people, willing to fit in with the society they move to. however, there are some who think that because they came here, we should treat them like they are more important than people born here. If one more Indian woman tells me I am a servant just because I have a job, I will slap her rude ignorant mouth.
