waiting on tables in a very busy restaurant.
been there done that, laughed my way to the bank. I made over $200 just on the weekends.

Usually, all universities have a student employment office somewhere on campus. Local businesses post listings with the office if they're needing help. Be careful if you're looking for a job in the summer. A lot of the postings might be for seasonal work only. Once the first frost hits, you're out of a job
Work study is also another option if you need a job close to campus or to work around your class schedule. The library, cafeteria, bookstore, and just about any office on campus need students workers to answer phones.
Waitressing, janitorial services, and retailers like Wal-Mart always need help. There's jobs everywhere, you just have to know where to dig. I'm typing this right now at work at 4:04 a.m., and I'm working as a 911 dispatcher for the campus police.

What I'm doing right now... I work night shift at a local hotel. I'm the only one here. Guests hardly ever need anything/check in at this time. I still have a year and a half left of school. I also can do homework here if I need to and get paid at the same time. It's really a sweet deal. I recommend it. Good luck.

telemarketing, walmart. waiting tables. all the things most students do for cash. Babysit, you get paid at the end of each session.
