Make her laugh. Don't tell her idiotic jokes, something really humourous. Don't ever offend her by talking to her about s** or telling non-veg jokes, until she shows that she is open about these things. But don't overdo any of this. Be good to everyone, even those whom you don't like, cuz girls don't like violence. Remember to give her her own space. If she doesn't want to talk at any particular moment, or about an incident or person, don't force her. If she needs help she may come to you herself.
Try to make a good impression on her, and slowly, after you think that she will agree, ask her for friendship. But, you have to maintain your goodness during your friendship.
