u'll need an invitation or try signing up by using your mobile phone number (like me) to get an invitation (instead of asking someone for an invitation) ... but if your country was listed there (if you're going to sign up using your mobile phone)

In order to get a Gmail Account started, you need to get an e-mail invitation from your friend or anybody you know who already has an account on Gmail. After you receive an e-mail invitation by your friend to join Gmail, you can automatically become the member by opening signing up for the free membership for Gmail a/c. You can then get the opportunity to invite 100 people to open up Gmail accounts. That's how Gmail works.

You need an invitation from someone who has an gmail account, i have like 100 invitations, send me an email and i'll give u 1...

Why would you want gmail when you have a Yahoo mail account. Yahoo mail is much better. To get a gmail account go to http://www.gmail.com/ and sign up.

You need to be invited by someone who already has a gmail account.
They get a limited number of invites to give out
find someone you know with gmail, ask them nicely and buy them a beer or something!

Right now you have to sign up using your cell phone number/text message. You can also get an invite from someone but the best way is to use your mobile/cell phone.
