500-600 words...Wow that is pratically an essay...I guess I would agree with this statement in some ways mostly because there are a lot more things out there today to pressure young people. The media as a big affect too... I think in some ways we have it easier. Look at all the technology that is out there today that makes eveything so much simpler. I also feel that I have less household responsibilities (chores) than my parents had...By the way is this homework or something? :)

Teenagers today have a very different life from their parents because everything is given to them (90%) they are lazier because of all the automation and devices made to make life easier. Not many teens could make a meal from scratch from the appetizers to the dessert without using the microwave or opening a mix. There is more danger now because there is more people and less supervision by parents.(gangs). Tougher no, not by far.

Now a days there is a lot of unhealthy competition, Lots of stress to be noticed and false feeling of overshadowing other instead of merits by politics and dirty tricks. The whole generation has turned more materialistic and seem to have forgotten the lessons of Moral science and ability to help others. Now every one thinks what he could get maximum from other rather than thinking what maximum he could give back to the society. The talent is wasted in distructive work... Really unhappy and sad with deep concern what will happen next ???

Teenagers today have a more difficult life emotionally. Today our lives are made easier by technology that helps us get arund easier and improves our quality of life.
Teenagers today find life more difficult due to needing to fit in. This may have also been something our parents found in their time but as time has gone on, and people have been influenced by movies, adverts etc, we want to be popular, and want to hang out with popular people, this adds more stress to teenagers lives because at this age teenagers arn't thinking about work, or paying the accounts or tending to the kids, but at a teenagers point of time their minds are more directed to trying to make friends, fit in, and find a partner due to hormones.
The fact is that this stress is unneccessary due to the fact that when a teenager grows up, becomes an Adult, maturity slaps you in the face with the reality that people that you need to impress to be accepted by them should rather be shown the door, or if you are one of the people who find it neccessary to have impressive people around you, that those thoughts were really just you growing up and living the immiture stage of your life.

Tougher would imply more suffering. The experience is relative to the amount of suffering, so you can never know for sure. The observation that kids have it tougher is relative too.

Not tougher, different. I didn't have to live with the fear of being hanged for not getting off the sidewalk so a white guy can walk by and a bunch of other foolish REDENSCHEISSE!

They don't have it tough at all. Most of them are spoiled rotten and disrespectful of all adults, including their parents. Life is way too easy for them and as a result they are going to grow up thinking everything is going to be handed to them on a silver platter, which we know is absolutely not the case.

I doubt it.I just think they are exposed to and corrupted by alot more and thus seem to mess up their lives. Before having a job was brilliant but know kids want everything and are not that prepared to work for it.They expect it handed on a plate to them but anyway there are exceptions to this rule and alot of teenagers do work real hard to get where they want to be
