I hate people who think foreign cars are the only good thing out there....and chevys are THE BEST. never ever gunna buy a ford...anyway, i would go with probably the Z28 camaro, if you are gunna serioulsy make it totally custom because no one wants to see more boaring old stock camaros...that or the Tahoe, as long as it has the V-8 otherwise its kinda worthless. And the fact that it dosent have leather kinda makes it even less appealing since you gotta have the trick interior to complament those pimpin rims. I suppose its worth it as long as the sound system has all aftermarket speakers and at least 2 amplified subs. Umm i dont think i, personally, would go with the Silverado. i mean we have one and love it, but i dont think i would want a lowered, i am assuming since it is 2wd, 4 door pickup. but thats just my personal experiance....Id say the camaro, but tahoe a close second. Just keep it american and keep it CHEVY!!!!

go with the new truck. Aftermarket work can get sketchy depending on who did the work. The rims imo are kind of lame, and serve no purpose other than to dent in nasty potholes. I've never met anyone who appreciated a nice set of rims or thought they were cool. Besides, if you're not polishing them as often as possible, they look like trash and can say a lot about the owner.

The Camaro would be fun, but A) it's used, and a Camaro...there's a good chance that the previous owner beat the crap out of it. The parts are easy enough to find, but work can be difficult. Any engine problems require the CAR to be lifted OFF of the engine. $$$$$$ On top of that, modding cars is like a virus. It'll spread until you can't control it. You'll either be broke, or you'll have an ugly car.

Go with the new Chevy, take any kind of offers they have to buy fuel for a year or something and leave it be. That's your best bet.

K, to start off, as for fuel mileage, you're lookin about the same on all three, as long as that 06 has the duramax diesel. Even with the 6.0 or 5.3 , which is what the tahoe will have as well, you should be able to see 20-22 mpg out of the trucks. The camaro should get around 25 mpg if you drive it easy. Mine got about 26 on the highway and 18 in town. My 4wd suburban got about 22 on the highway and 20 in town. As for the people that go for imports, they are uneducated. Thats the only word for it. I've owned imports that have reached 200K miles, and I have owned many, many domestics that have reached 200-300K miles. If you've got the money, go with a newer chevy duramax diesel. They'll still get the same gas mileage as the gasser, and you can chip them to where they'll blow away that camaro. I believe Pacific Performance Engineering now is offering a 300 hp chip for the newest duramax. Anyways, hope you get something you like. :)

If you're going to fix up a GM car forget the Camaro and jump right into the Corvette. Out of the three choices you gave I would probably go with the Silverado..although 4x4 makes sense when buying a truck like that.

this is for the ones who hate chev , ford and dodge ,,!,, . and as for the answer to your question id like to say good choice sticking to chevy , first of all what most maker DONT do is make a lot of universal parts but chevy does so it makes finding parts cheeper because they work on so many cars and trucks , then as for witch one well that depends on what you want to do a tahoe is a people mover its good for lots of friends , and so is the crew but its harder to put stereo equipment in if u want to boom but the camaro is great if no one with legs gets in the back lol but great if u want the g/f to sit next and its got the get up and go and will handle the road much better then the rest , i have a 2000 z71 my self and love it its only a king cab but it suits me just fine

Camaro....what you save in gas will more than cover your insurance costs. Camaro's are nice cars, and I never had a problem with their build quality....I've owned 7, 5 of which were from the last bodystyle. Gotta love these guys that say "Buy Japanese".....they are in the wrong category on Yahoo answers, and if they don't like American cars, then they should move to Japan.

Avoid American cars if you want decent build quality and handling.

However, if you're after something cheap and tacky to customise then the crew cab would fit more of your homies in it. I see no point in getting a 2WD SUV - waste of gas and they handle like a fat kid on a space hopper.

What's with the bashing of American cars?

American cars build quality has improved tremendously.

Go for the Camaro, unless you need to haul things. Better gas and faster.
