Lying in my cot, aged about 1, listening to my mum singing "twinkle twinkle little star" to try and get me to sleep.
And also being given a bath in the kitchen sink so that I could watch the birds in the back garden!

I was really sick from the day I was born until age three and I have a lot of memories from that time, some as early as 11 months. Things like throwing up and the taste of the medicine and stuff like that.

Locking myself in the toilet at home when I was 22 months old and my Mum having to call the fire brigade out to knock the door down (I still remember being told to stand behind the loo and that there would be a loud noise as they rammed the door)

Lying with my head on my mum's lap in the back of a taxi being whisked to hospital after I cracked my head open on the edge of a wall! Age 2

My 3rd birthday simply because it was a memorable date. I may have earlier memories but its hard to put a date with them.
I remember being told to go to bed on my 3rd birthday when I didn't want to as I wanted to stay up and not go to bed at my normal time. I probably cried - still do!

The green carpet of the house I was born into. I spent a lot of time in my first 9 months face down on it! :)

people from the electrical company changing a big wire in my back yard... just seeing strange people in white hard-hats and the red reflective vests walking around my yard was really freaky.

my sister shutting a door on me which i opened from the other side and i got my finger trapped as she shut it. god it hurt like hell, my dad came to my rescue and when i saw my finger the nail was crushed and he said the word hospital and i screamed begging my mum to just out a plaster on it!! i was 3
