Probably because people are bored and come here for entertainment rather than enlightenment and they feed their own ego by belittling and abusing others to compensate for their inadequacies.

In my experience and that of many I have spoken to, rude and insulting behaviour has increased dramatically in Britain. What other country has signs in public places asking people to refrain from assaults on staff? Thirty years ago British people talked about how rude Americans were; now Americans seem polite compared to British people - and it isn't because Americans have become more polite.
The reason? When a nation loses its identity, it loses its values and its civility. A very large part of it beomes a rabble. When you take everything that made it great away from a nation, a whipped-cur mentality develops, by turns cringing and snarling.
That is what we see all about us

Unfortunately it seems to be a sign of the times. Generally we seem to live in a society when lots of this generations think their abusive attitudes and selfishness are a type of one upmanship. When the abuse is directed at them they don't like it.

Because unfortunatley some people on yahoo think they are better then others and instead of giving some useful advice they decide to criticise instead just let them get over themselves it's probably the only time they get noticed :)

I really wish i knew the answer to that one. I asked a simple code breaking question and got reams and reams of abuse! The simple answer reall yis that if they don't know or can't work it out they shoudl keep their big fat opinions to themselves.

Why are there so many bad drivers? People have bullied others since the beginning of humankind. It's about their insecurities.
