And the FACT of the matter is - What makes the Constitution such a beautiful document for governing people is that it does not give people freedon - it's restricts the governments ability to limit freedmon.

Good question!! Also very good point that the constitution exists not to gurantee rights, but to restrict teh ability of govt to take them away. It must be remembered that our system of govt believes that power belongs to the people always & the govt never, that govt exists in a limited way to teh extend we allow it to do only what is absolutely necessary for us to live together with the freedom to succeed or fail on our own.

Bushies of all types should agree with this statement, if our Constitution had a loophole that allowed for some kind of terrorism, wouldnt you want to change it?

I agree with this statement all the way. NSA wiretaps are an live example of this statement in action by the Bush Admistration.
