I stronly suggest CarMex. They are the best chapsticks in the world.

Well, to begin with I have found that chapped lips is one indication that you arent drinking enough water. When this happens to me I drink my water more often and the problem subsides. In cold weather however I have to use chap stick. My lips are big so I know about the changes from chapped lips. What ever you do don't pick at them you can tear the dead skin at the soft flesh of skin and tear off more than you want. the results is bleeding and soreness. Drink your water and put blistex on your lips. This works better than chap stick.
Regards, Earl

I used to suffer from dry chapped lips also, but I've been using 'Chapstick Strawberry Lip Balm' for the last few years and it's done wonders. I never leave the house without it. I found a lot of other balms encouraged me to lick my lips, which is a big no no, as saliva dries them out.
I've also read that when you brush your teeth, 'lightly' give your lips a going over (and I mean lightly), just to exfoliate the dead skin and to give the lip balm clean skin to go onto.
Hope it helps

I've used so many chapsticks over the years! But my absolute favorite would have to be Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm. It moisturizes like nothing else. My lips used to peel they got so dry, but not anymore. You can find this balm at Borders, Longs Drugs, Walgreens, a natural food store, or online at www.drugstore.com. The balm itself is a bit hard, but it does melt on your lips.
Most chapsticks use petrolatum, which is derived from petroleum. Petrolatum/mineral oil just sits on your skin -- it doesn't provide any real moisture. Why do companies manufacture products with these ingredients? Because they are very cheap, and it appears that your skin/lips are being moisturized, while in fact they are just being coated.

My wife likes to use Carmex, but I've always preferred a product in a small beige colored round container made by Blistex called DCT ( Daily Conditioning Treatment ). It works great and doesn't have as much of a medicinal smell as Carmex does. I've found it at Wal-Mart & Walgreen's or I'm sure at any other pharmacy-type store. Good Luck and keep those lips soft and supple !!!

i have a really hard time with severe chapped lips and i've found that blistex works the best. the white stuff in the white tube...i load up on it at night before i go to bed and wake up with really soft lips. plus it has the tinglies so when your lips get really dry and itchy it's very soothing...love it. hope this helps!

Listen up, use vaseline, or go to www.marykay.com and find a consultant near you! They have a a scrub and a lip thing. It works pretty fast. Your lips will be smooth within a day or 2. They also have all sorts of products for your body and face. They have fantastic lipgloss too!! My favorite is Pink Allure. It is so pretty!!!! Good Luck!

Whatever you do , do not listen to the person that told you to lick your lips, that is the most drying thing of all since your saliva contains acid. Try blistex in the small blue jar, and also drink as much water as you can stand in a days time.
