There is no medical reason to be circumsized. It does not affect lovemaking and many societies other than the US do not believe in circumcision. Jewish people wait until the eighth day of the baby's life to circumcize him and it hurts horribly. Babies can feel every part of their body when they are born so don't believe that baby does not feel it. It is part of their religion and being Jewish that they perform the circumcision.

Because the only reason men were getting circumsized to begin with is because it was a jewish tradision...Now parents in the United States do it for their sons because it is healthier for the boys...It is easier to keep clean and does not cause infections. It is safe to say that if the father is circumsized then the son is.

From my perspective here in England I am surprised that this unecessary proceedure is still practiced (except for medical reasons).
I am also uneasy about circumsizing infants and young boys who have no say in the matter - could this be regarded as a form of abuse? I don't think that religion nor culture should be exempt from this view.
Neither am I happy with the idea of circumcision performed by non-surgically trained people.

Europeans know that circumcision is an outdated torture that should be abolished. It does nothing to help the function of the penis and actually loses some of the nerves in the penis. I am intact and love it and I have had no complaints From anybody I have been with. The main this is to teach the young boys how to keep their penis clean and they will have no hygiene problems and better sex because of the extra nerve tissue

Some are, some aren't. About a quarter of the guys I've slept with have been... It's mostly down to familial beliefs.

Er as they don't let imaginary figures into homophobia and sexisim and nasty attiudes to sex dicate what they do. So have sense... Plus why change what you are born with. Its there for a reason...

I guess thats the way they do it there.....But down the line they will have to have it done.....They can't really clean theirself well and can cause bacteria and some bacteria causes diseases and you can give this to your sex partner.....
