We had it done to our ferret when we got her. Total, everything was 120 bucks, but that was for clipping her nails, and to stay overnight at the vet. My advice would be call around to local vets and get prices because each vet has a different price. Even after being de-scented, they still smell funky. You have to change the littler daily, and pick up ferret wipes from PetCo. They're better than giving your ferret constant baths, and they keep the stink down.

It varies from vet to vet. I've seen some charge $60, some over $100. Descenting isn't really necessary since ferrets don't spray like skunks. It doesn't help with their natural odor, either. The only time you notice that they aren't descented is if they get super mad...then they start to release the scent from their glands which is pretty strong, but again it's not a spray. It's just a smell.
