What do you think of the new Sonic Youth album?

I'm halfway through it and it's definately more straight foward, but very SY nonetheless. A lighter affair by their standards, I think. I quite like it.

Only heard it a couple of times so far, you're right it is a bit more mainstream than they've been for a while - probably since Dirty. It's quite good and Incinerate is a top track .It's no Daydream Nation though
