I would say no..How much do you really know about that person and their day to day life other than what they choose to tell you

It's not very serious if you never meet. The statistics for people getting into all sorts of trouble from online chat are quite alarming. It could be nothing more than someone who wants to lure into something. If it's serious than there should be no problem meeting in person.

It's just as safe to talk to someone online as it is to talk to people you see in person. There's always risk, just depends whether or not you want to take it. The media has a very negative outlook about the internet, but that's because all of the newsteams reporting these things read their opinions from a teleprompter meant to be filled with shocking, negative information... Hope that helps... But there is a big advantage of actually talking to a person face-to-face. They can't really hide behind a mask or a guise, and 94% percent of our communication is non-verbal, so you have to ask yourself what you're missing out on?

no, because the people are not who they say they are in most cases. i should know because i have friends that like to mess with people and act like they are teenage girls and they are really adult men.

try meeting people in a public place and in person.
