When pepole give interviews and get selected in a new job and they agree to join new job, but some of them do not join new job. What can be the reasons behind that?

Interviewees are also interviewing the company when they attend interviews. There could be many reasons to turn down an offer such as salary, hours, benefits, concerns with future supervisor, parking, etc. The possibilities are endless the same way an employer could not choose a candidate for any number of reasons.

Such persons may have some employment at present with some commitment and hence may not be got relieved there. Some financial commitments like security deposit or bonds for minimum period of employment. Some family background impending shifting to new places. Less attraction to the new job. Uncertain terms.

When your on the spot, its hard to give the right answer. If your girlfriend asks, "am I fat" your in the spot light and your not going to say yeah when she really is fat. With a new job, its hard to say no, when your pressured to say yes.

Because they have better offers on hand or are sure of clinching better one and the offer (REFUSED) is not that attractive.
