Well...It is what it is...

Most people like to complain about presidents and their actions, but most do not know what those presidents have done to help the country out. Bush and Clinton, arguably the worst presidents of all time by most Americans were the only two presidents to work and successfully bring the debt to a surplus level and pay out to the American people...we went to town as a country and asked for our money back then we got attacked...

I do not really care for the government structure of the U.S. The democratic view of "For the people, by the people" is tough to use when so many Americans are uneducated on politics and the structure and required actions of government.

But employment has increased...GDP has increased, oil is a loosing battle that everyone thinks we are at war over...check the facts if you think this, Iraq is not in the top 5 suppliers, and Afgahnistan is not in the top 20. But we are shipping jobs over the border with the glorified NAFTA. So I guess it is more of an opinion about the citizens of the U.S...not so much the government..."for the poeple, by the people" is what has hurt this country the most.

Without seeming too unpatriotic, I'd just like to say that I'm ashamed of my "leadership" right now! I have NEVER seen a more crooked administration in all my 52 years! What is so frustrating is that I KNOW we can do SO MUCH BETTER!! We need to take a desperate look at what we're doing, what we're not doing, and make some serious changes, so that the average man is not so apathetic and disenfranchised! We need to put money back where it belongs, in the hands of our educators, in the pockets of our ENTIRE population so that Health Care is mandatory for EVERYONE, and we need to stick our noses out of other countries, and out of Brad and Angelina's lives, and back into our children's textbooks!! In fact, we need a TOTAL REBIRTH, a Renaissance, if you will, of ideas, of thought, of art, of literature, and of culture! Our self-involved, ignorant society needs to share ideas with other countries, and actually LISTEN to what they think of us! We need to stop driving others away, and start intelligent dialogue with other nations, instead of constant threats to their welfare, and our "Bring-it-on" mentality! We are so behind everyone else in education, childhood mortality rates, and even world economies--we need summits where we SHARE what's good about each other, and ACCEPT what we may believe is negative or different! There is no doubt that we need new blood in our leadership, certainly something past our "status quo" two-party system! IT'S NOT WORKING!! Let people and companies make money, BUT NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF THE REST OF US!!!!! Equal taxation, equal representation--that's what our Constitution and Bill of Rights was about, and we desperately need a return to those ideals!! AT THE VERY LEAST, give it a fighting chance!!!!!

Administrations come and go. Power corrupts same as anywhere. Ordinary people are pretty much the same as ordinary people everywhere. We want to have enough to feed our children and make a better life for ourselves and our families.
The main thing about America is the freedom. We have the freedom for or from religion. We have the freedom of speech. We have the freedom of association. We have the right to pursue life, liberty and happiness. We also have the right to become filthy rich if we have enough desire, imagination and luck to do so. Why do people around the world flock to come to the U.S legally or ill-legally? We are not the only country that offers opportunity to succeed -only a better chance at succeeding.

Great place to live. I pay my taxes, do what I like, and can feel any way I want to about anything in the safest, wealthiest, most prosperous nation in history. I think it's the greatest place to carry out a decent way of life.

The US is always under pressure from other countries. When it comes to helping (or interfering with, if you want to say it that way) other countirs, we're pretty much damned if we do and damned if we don't.

The have-nots are resentful of US regardless of who is in the White House. Your biased question makes me wonder if it is serious. However, I will answer you with a quote,

"My country, in her intercourse with other countries, may she always be right, but, right or wrong, my country".
