Cant single out one!! I'll list my favorites.
I agree with the first one.......... Diablo 1 & 2..... You dont need a super computer to play those........... Diablo has a good story line and lots of action, its an RPG that lets you choose your characters and abilities but it isnt complicated... Simple and effective....
And if you are sporty kind, then go for Need For Speed........NFS 1 upto 4 can run on any average computer.... And if you have a reasonable AGP, then you can also run NFS 5 and NFS Underground.... NFS underground is an excellent racing game, Underground 2 is also good but it needs a better PC..............
Ummmm........... Urban Chaos is also very good... First person action game......
If you really like RPG then you can get your hands on a game called Dink Smallwod.... its a brillinat game, doesnt require much space/graphic capacity or RAM.........

but those are pretty hardware in-tents
simcity was always a lot of fun, if your really behind in graphics. then id pick up diablo 2 and the expansion and play online. its a great way to kill a couple of months looking for gems and ish.
really anything by blizzard is sweet.

Wolfesntein:Enemy Territory. Its online only but its very addictive and doesnt need a massive amount of computing power. A decent CPU is better than a powerful graphics card in this case
