Hanging shoes from power/telephone lines signifies (at least from what Ive seen here in New Orleans), the death of someone at or near that location. Usually a murder.

that's funny as heck. I lived in AZ for a long time and I noticed that too... Phoenix and up in Prescott.... I don't know... could be people want out of AZ as fast as they can get out.. ??
But then I go back and read the drug thing, and now thinking about AZ, shoot that could be very well true all in of itself. Especially Phoenix! Oh ya and Chino Valley.. ;) (where they invented the "tooth"brush)(only one tooth!) LMAO
