Perhaps never anymore? Hurting can have several causes - breaking up the hymen or others.

Try to really relax, choose a boy you really feel comfortable with, tell him that you take time to relax and are then able to enjoy much more.

Everyone and every situation is different. When I first had sex with my ex husband he was pretty large and I cried it hurt so much. But over the next few times it started to hurt less and less. You may feel some pain when the hymen is broken and any other pain after that is simply from tightness. Add lube and it will help but it shouldn't hurt as much as that first time. Now to actually feel pleasure during sex can be a whole diff story. You need alot of making out for that as well as I think a womans age plays alot into that also.

I suppose that depends on how nicely your virginity was taken. With patience and arousal it shouldn't hurt again at all.

Having said that...When I lost my virginity I found that it hurt a great deal (because he wasn't all that nice about it) and hurt for the next few times. It didn't hurt as much or for very long.

The female body really does need to be aroused to properly enjoy sex. If you're dry it will at least be uncomfortable and most likely hurt. If you have a problem with moisture, water based lubricants are the best. Also, the more aroused you are, the more the vaginal muscles will be able to stretch to accomodate your partner.

The best thing to do is learn what arouses you, what touches work best where. Then learn how to tell your partner what works. Experimenting with different sensations (vibrators, hot, cold, liquid, solid, whatever) will also help. But all these things come with time and experience.

It should not hurt at all.

Ensure that you are lubricated at all times this stops the friction involved.
