My ipod ran out of battery..so naturally i put it to charge.. and it wouldn't turn on! left it charging for a day .. and nothing... i have tried everything.. i can't get it to turn on .. anyone have this happen?

toggle the hold switch a couple times then hold down the middle button and menu button at the same time. it will reset but no music/videos/settings etc will be erased

I've had the same problem before, first make sure that the ipod is unlocked. Then hold down the center button that you would normally use to select songs. Usually after you hold it for 5-10 seconds you will see the apple icon pop up on the screen. Mine does this when I haven't used it for more than a day.

Maybe you forgot to take it off hold mode. Or it just BROKE!!! You can get a new one for free if it's still under the warranty.

Have you checked to see that it's not locked?

let me brake it down for you the same thing happen to my cell phone....... IT'S BROKE!!!! get a new one dumbass!!!
