How can cross dressers NOT be gay?

My friend caught her husband crossdressing and now that is the only way he wants sex.

Well, you can be a crossdresser, or a transgendered individual without being homosexual, because gender identity and sexual preferance are two differant axis of human psychology. For some male crossdressers, the infatuation with women's clothing, infact has nothing to do with the clothing at all, but rather to do with the taboo of wearing the clothing. The excitment of doing something "naughty" tends to be at the root of several other fetishes. ie.: fursuiters, masochists, exhibitionists, voyers, ect. Perhaps that is why there are many more male to female crossdressers and fewer female to male crossdresser. If you think about it, women wear men's fashions all the time, with little to no conviction. How many girls do you know, who have worn boxer shorts? Were they accused of being gay? Probably not.

My ex-husband of several years was/is transgendered, a so-called crossdresser. He wanted to BE a woman. As you know, being a women does not necessarily mean wanting to have sex with men! He considers himself a lesbian. Many CDs and TGs do. Others swing both ways. Some prefer to have sex with men.

Because they're not. Because you wear pants, does that make you a man, or even a lesbian? They have a fetish for the other gender's clothing and that's it. They don't want to become the opposite gender; they have wives and children.

Drag queens, usually gay, cross dress to entertain. Transgendered people believe themselves to be the opposite gender from their genitalia and cross dress as a means toward becoming their inner selves.

J ust because we happen to enjoy wearing women's clothing does not make us gay.We all do it for many different reasons,that's not to say some some arnt gay but most studies say that over 75 percent of cross dressers are heterosexual.As far as your friend wanting to be en fem while having sex with his wife.....Who cares,maybe its just a fetish of his.He is still having sex with a woman and as far as I know that means he is definitely not gay.For all the holier than thou bible thumpers who condemn me for wearing what I feel comfortable in I will say a prayer for you.

There is a distinct difference between "I like to dress in women's clothing though I am male" (for example) and "I like to have sex with other men". The notion that dressing like a woman normally dresses when you're male or as a male normally dresses when you're female indicates homosexual tendencies is as flawed logically as the notion that since dogs are mammals all mammals must be dogs.

IMO (In my opinion) gender identity is somewhat genetic,cultural or learned behavior ie; sexual abuse, etc. Haven't some of us dressed-up like the opposite sex? Costume Party, Halloween, Initiation Prank...just to name a few. I have dated several men in my life that like to Cross-Dress, and believe me...there wasn't anything gay about them!

Um, very very easily. Liking women's clothing is usually a further fetishization of women. It actually makes him more straight then most straight men, almost verging on the lesbian side.

Most cross dressers aren't gay. Moses condemned them, so I think you should start hating them , immediately. God would want it.
