am i the only one who thinks over half of MTV'S reality shows r DUMB and STUPID. First of all "Run's House" okay what da h*ll is that..lol, that show is soooooooo fake, and stupid, i can't believe they have a season 2 comin up, its sooo easy to tell they r all acting, come on now.....ever since "The Osbournes" every untalented celebrity family is tryin to make sum $$$$ off these reality shows.... "The Hills" another dumba$$ show, whats the point of this show???? can ya'll think of any more DUMB shows on MTV????

Stop watching them. The only reason they keep making them is because people support and still watch them. MTV reality shows, IMHO, are nothing but softcore Girls Gone Wild shows or Jerry Springer reruns. And TRL? It's an infomercial. The people that stand outside the building are morons.

MTV has sucked for the past several years. Their shows are pathetic and disgusting. America's youth is already dumb enough, and with these stupid shows on the air, our society is going down the toilet. Mtv needs to stop airing so many "reality" tv shows and dumb dating programs. I can't remember the last time i saw a music video on mtv.
MTV- music television....there's an idea! HOW ABOUT PLAY SOME ******' MUSIC!!!!
VH1 is cool though, although they don't play as much music as they used to, they still have some pretty cool shows, movies and documentaries. VH1 is way above MTV. The day that Vh1 starts airing a dumb show like "date my crazy preverted uncle" or something like that, i will personally go over to the VH1 headquarters and shoot their asses.
Sorry for my rant, it's just TV, don't take it too seriously. ;-)

No, you are not the only one. Trust me. Reality TV is not for me. (whether or not they were made by MTV). I think producers have all run out of good TV ideas, realized they couldn't top Friends, and had to come up with silly shows that just basically fill in time. The stupidest one of all time is "The Simple Life". I think these shows generally display what we as humans find interesting, which makes me believe the world is going down-hill fast.

Okay I don't get into MTV because I think it is for kids and they don't do videos like when I was a teenager.
The only show that I think is okay on there is Made. I'm not sure if it still airs but I liked seeing these kids get help making changes in themselves and gaining more self esteem.

I personally like 'The Hills' and many of MTV's other reality shows. Yes, a lot of it seems scripted and drama-induced, but I gain a lot of insight in how people outside of my normal social group behavior, think, and interact. Gaining an understanding of the people portrayed is very interesting to me.

Yea a lot of MTV reality shows are dumb...What happened to the days when MTV played music. That was actually probably before my time. I am hooked on Laguna Beach though. Partly because I can relate to it and partly because I can make fun of it. :)

I think the worst so called reality show I ever had occasion to watch was something about some spoiled**s rich 16 year old girl carrying on about some kind of party she was having. Lord above I wanted to smack her and her parents.

IAgreed. There are more than a few dumb tv shows out there.Everybody loves Raymond is depressingly dumb. There are many too boring for me.

any show on MTV is just degrading to the intellectual human being
as long as stupid teenagers watch these shows they will keep on creating them
so ask, plead, beg, them to stop watching MTV
and to the girl above
i would not want to associate myself with stupid teenagers that talk "like" "omg" and "LOL" and "TTYL" and "and Like"

i actually like those shows..well i don't watch the hills.but that so not reality...and all those dating shows.omg wait wasn't this MUSIC TV not stupid @ss dating shows and Fake @ss reality shows TV..i mean you have to be an insomniac to actually see videos on that $hit,,
