I know this isnt the healthy way to go about losing weight, but i need to drop one size for a reunion i have coming up and want to know if anyone has tried this way of eating. BEFORE you answer this question, know this, i exercise regualrly, eat healthy and am in good health, im only doing this so i can be one size smaller. So please dont tell me how this will mess up my metabolism and how im making a mistake. I ONLY WANT TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE THIS OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS .Can u tell me what results they had? Sorry for the caps but ive seen on here where people just want to preach to you or critize you and i dont want either one of those. I just want to know what results people have had with this and how long they did it for?

I did a variation of this diet that was mainly fruits and veggies, but also included whole grains (as long as they didn't contain wheat or gluten- meaning I was restricted to brown rice, quinoa and corn), legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc) and specific proteins (mainly soy, but also three eggs weekly). I lost twenty pounds in two months without adding on any exercise.

I suggest you read Dr. Joshi's Holistic Detox, which has an extremely detailed week-by-week eating plan that will really help you lose weight quickly and keep it off. Don't just jump into the diet without understanding the nutrition behind it.

I did something similar.... for breakfast I would eat half a grapefruit and a piece of white wheat toast and orange juice. for lunch I would eat celery with fat free dip or a fruit salad and yogurt. But for dinner, I would eat a small portion of baked chicken and steamed veggies - and water to drink (I drink flavored water , which has no calories or fat and is sugar free). If I got hungry at night I'd eat an apple - but tried not to eat anything after 6 pm.
I lost inches off my waist and dropped a size in the first two weeks. (this was with regular exercise - walking a mile everyday, crunches in am and pm and cardio twice a week) Plus the fruits and veggies made my skin clearer, my eyes sparkle and my hair shine.. Hmm I need to do this "diet" again lol
