Do you remember that chap that sold his web page pixel by pixel? Hackers demanded money off him or they would shut down his site. That is a form of cyber terror.

Cyber Terrorism is terrorism aimed at computer networks and can range from the minor things like spam attacks to an electromagnetic pulse.

There's a few types.
1. Direct hacker attacks to steal information, plant confusing disinformation, or shut down systems. We did this to Iraq prior to invading. We hacked into the air defense & command & control systems. Planted false information about what was going on in the battlespace, and shut down the air defense system as bombing began. More relavent targets would be the electrical grid or air traffic control system.
2. Indirect hacker attacks are just like the spam attacks you've seen. A virus is written to take control of private computers, and they are used to mass email a target with so much volumn it shuits down their servers. This can be simply to harrass or disrupt communications, or it can overload systems controlling services like those above.
3. Propaganda attacks consist of a public relations campaign waged on the internet to forment trouble at the target. This could be conducted against US soldiers to make them sympathize with the enemy & not want to fight, or with the US population to promote anti-war feelings aimed at causing troops to be withdrawln. It can also be used to promote an agenda & recruit fighters. This is the primary area being used by terrorists today, including a couple people posting on this website.

Well...IDK which kind you are talking about?...The one on a country or one on an individual?...When you stalk someone on here then that is cyber terror to me...That reminds me...That hacker on here...I had to deal with that shi* myself because Y! wouldn't do anything bout it...And that freak it still stalking me cause the police won't believe me when they should cause he's a REAL BIG FREAK!...A psycho at that...IDK how he knows me or found me but he needs to leave me alone...Btw...How can you get rid of someone like that?...
