1) Marylin Monroe was murdered to keep from embarrassing the Kennedy's

2) JFK was whacked (by the Mafia with info from LBJ on the route he would travel) for Bobby Kennedys persecution of the Mafia which occurred after they had thrown union support behind him in the W Va. primary and essentially pave the road for him to become president!

I don't beleive in the kind that says the whole world is orchestrated by a group of cigar smoking politicians and business men behind closed doors. Too many secrets to keep and too many contrary motives to line up. Though society is certainly being pushed in directions that stand in contrast to "Self determination"

BUT I do believe some individual events were covered up.

TWA Flight 800.
Too many witnesses saw something streaking towards the plane.
No way any plane is going to explode like that simply because
kerosene vapors in the tank ignited - never happened before, will never happen again.
The head of the FTA came out and SAID they had evidence of a bomb, then latter retracted it.

Oklahoma City:
Results showed motive which revealed conspirators.
Prior to OK city, Klinton had a BIG problem with armed militias. This was caused mainly by his jack-boot tactics in Waco and Ruby Ridge.
Any president would be afraid of armed militias that hated him.
After OK city, the US militia movement TOTALLY disappeared. Looks like our boy bill cleaned up his problem pretty neatly.

Those I don't believe in:

Roswell - or any UFO sightings for that matter. 50 years ago, people who reported sightings made reports of seeing "little green men" mostly from Mars. Now they report bug-eyed, gray skined spindley creatures from another galaxy - who BTW almost always telepathically convey a politically correct message. This type of sighting only came about after a 1982 OMNI magazine article describing what humans would look like after a few more centuries of evolution. Bottom line: people have active imaginations.

Didn't go to the moon-
Almost all of the evidence to the contrary can be easily explained.

Almost any "Medical Miracle" coverup -
These are almost always blamed on the drug companies who want to keep their stake in the billion dollar drug market. Although I agree that the state of medicine today is pathetic (Vioxx, phen phen) complete blindness to natural alternatives, there are two fatal flaws with any of these theories:
1. No one leaves money on the table. If you found the next miracle cure to cancer. They might kill you for it, but someone somewhere will exploit it to their benefit.
2. These theories are very "America-centric". Don't forget that there are other countries that don't have to bow to the drug companies or FDA. Communist countries come to mind - They don't have to play by anyone's rules.

Gasoline-
Although there is some "working together" to monopolize energy markets. Perpetual motion, over-unity etc. are just not real (SEE 1 and 2 above).

Some that I'm not sure of:

JFK
9/11
New World Order
All have the appearance of conspiracy, but not enough motive, evidence or outcome to prove conclusively.

Most conspiracy's are simply covered up too well.

I am not one to think that they are conspiring with aliens, but I do firmly believe that every government has something up their sleves and that the best way to keep people from asking questions is to make people not care, or not believe when they are told the truth.

Think of the Blackbird or the Stealth Bomber. . they had both been designed, built, and used for a decade or more before the military made them public. Prior to that there were many rumors of super fast planes that could not be seen on radar. . .not completely accurate, but close enough, and the military infatically said "We don't have that kind of technology."

Think about this. . the government is in control of all the agencies that investigates accidents, unexplained phenomenon, kidnappings, international intelligence, and all the information we use, see, and compile. They have no real loyalty to us, afterall they are human. . and power is infectious and drives everything we do. If you had the power, would you not use it?

The important thing is that they never be able to take away our ability to fight it if they go too far. Never let them take our guns, never let them take away our right to vote (not that it really matters), defend your principles and never expect the government to protect you, your property, or your needs, unless it is more than theirs.

I don't trust a single major conspiracy theory.
Having worked for both the government and large corporations, I know that they are ALL too inept and incapable of covering up any large-scale conspiracy for very long.
I also know from experience that the vast majority of human beings are braggarts to some extent, and people just can't resist talking about what they've done, especially if it's something deep, dark, and secret. The truth will eventually come out.

Yes I believe in all of them. Even the ones I haven't heard about. In my opinion, even out right bold faced lies hold truth to some twisted aspect or another. Perhaps none of them make sense to a sane person but I've met people from mental institutions that made me think that I was crazy and they were the sane ones. Perhaps and probably more fact than fiction is that these theories arise from paranoid delusions and are "truth" from the perspective of the theory stater. If there is doubt then it only proves that people will believe anything that they can't explain in terms of thier own psyche. But from words from wiser men and women when I asked advice about that which may or may not exist is " Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear!"

as conspirer, i'm sure that much happens that isn't what it seems. I don't know what is true and what is not but don't imagine that our leaders are any different from you. We all lie, we all have our own agendas. I can only imagine what happens late nights in DC. Who plans what, who sits around and has drinks with some trusted friends scheming this or that. How often or how far is unsure but something definitely goes down.

The 9/11 conspiracy always made me laugh, then I watched the Painful Deceptions movie and boy, now I really question our government.

Kennedy wasn't shot by Oswald. I don't necessarily think the govt was in on the kill, but certainly covered up whoever did it and muddied the waters, for whatever reason.
