summer class is really boring and i don't have to pay attention. What can i do to make it seem like time is passing by more quickly. I bring my laptop to class but time still doesn't seem to go fast enough. Any suggestions...I'm in college by the way....

If you don't have to pay attention I assume that you know the material. Most colleges will let you 'test out' out of a class and take one that offers more challenges. If not you could participate and offer explanations that would help other students that may not be as knowledgeable in the class as you are. Often, although the professors are expert in whatever class they are teaching, they have difficulty relaying information so students can understand it. Last of all, like most everything else in life, its a matter of attitude. You go expecting to be bored you will be!

how about listen to some music, if you have an ipod, mp3 player, or personal cd player, you could take it with you and listen to music.
If you like to read, you could read some books or magazines.
if you have a gameboy or psp, you could play games.
you could eat something.
you could take a puzzle with you to school and try to finish it before class is over.
you could buy a personal DVD player and watch a movie.
you could day dream
or you could actually study and pay attention to the teacher and then maybe you have to go to summer school next time LOL

I second David's suggestion...
Play solitaire or answer questions on Yahoo Answers with your laptop...with a computer, seriously, how do you get bored?

Read a book. Write. Move on to the next chapter. Just find something that you need to do and do it there.

draw, listen to music with ear phones, watch movies on your laptop, watch funny videos, read, do other work, research a hobby, talk to people online, card games, other computer games, write letters/notes, text, that's all I've got

i always do my finances... budget, investments... also make my lists.. i'm a list person. things to do, buy.. etc...
