Definitely "Revolver"(for me)."Rubber Soul" is almost like "The Beatles-Unplugged" album, which has some wonderful moments..but "Revolver" still seems, almost 40 years on,to be one of the most innovative albums ever. There's such a great diversity to all the stuff on there, and a then unprecedented THREE songs written by George."Rubber Soul" seemed to be the Beatles being introspective..but "Revolver" had a bit more social commentary. But it's the musical diversity that really amazes me.You got Indian music("Love You To"),Motown("Got To Get You Into My Life")Chamber music("Eleanor Rigby"),Pop("And Your Bird Can Sing","I Want To Tell You"),Psychedelia("Tomorrow Never Knows","I'm Only Sleeping"),Music hall("Good Day Sunshine")..even something of a percursor of later hard rock("She Said,She Said"..that's some heavy guitar there!).I play this album often..but I actually prefer the U.S. mono vinyl record...mainly because of the slight differences in the songs as opposed to the British CD versions.("Love You To" is notably longer on the record,"Got To Get You Into My LIfe" has a different fade out vocal,"Yellow Submarine" is a bit different because you can hear the background vocals a little louder..things like that.)Anyway..it's a superb album. One of their finest moments!!

They're both equally excellent, but I'd go for "Revolver".
