Get a glass of water and an egg. Show how, if you simply drop the egg in the water, it will sink. However, if you pour salt into the water, the egg will float. This is because the salt makes the liquid mixture more dense, which helps hold the egg up.

Use this analogy to explain why it is easier for a person to float in saltwater than in freshwater.

You will have to experiment first with the amount of salt--it will depend on the amount of water you have. I'm sure you could find a "recipe" online, though.

How'd you get to try this interior the 1st place? I want i'm going to have taken 8th and 9th grade classes in seventh grade! In extreme college all grades are at the same time, some little ones artwork forward, some fail and a few classes you could basically take each and every time. i'm in a variety with generally seniors next semester and that i'm a junior.
