Currently mankind does not have the capability to travel to other planets for two reasons. The human life expectancy is way to short in geological terms. The Sun is 93,000,000 miles away from the earth (really close) requiring 775 days to get there traveling at a sustained 5000mph.( a lot of energy). And we do not have the technology (fusion) to produce the vast amounts of energy space travel would require even in a aircraft carrier sized ship. Once controlled fusion is developed then scenarios like space travel become more real. Take care....

Humans have travelled as far as the moon, which is about 0.002AU (Astronomical Units) from us, which was expensive enough as it is........ but since then, due to "budgeting issues" humans have basically just been poncing around in Space shuttles & space stations in low earth orbit.
In comparison, our next nearest planets are about
Venus: 0.3 - 1.2AU
Mars: 0.9 - 1.2AU from us
1AU = the average distance between the Earth and Sun.
However, space probes such as Voyager1 & Voyager2 have cleared the "Termination Shock" (where the edge of the "Solar Wind" is).
Probably won't see Humans visiting other planets (most likely Mars) until well after 2020.

Humans have travelled to the Moon, and we have sent probes to most other planets in the Solar System. We have not yet sent humans anywhere other than the moon, but we technically are capable of sending them at least to mars. We can't yet send humans to any other stars because they're so far away, and they wouldn't get there in a single lifetime.

Yes we do have very strong ability and capability to travel to other planets, because we have already done in 1969 , that was made by :Armstong & Aldrin , two famous astronuts from the united state of america ,by space ship of Apolo 11.

Right now, only robots and satellites can travel into other planets because us, humans, had not yet grasp the technology to do it. However, with all the advancement that we are having right now in research and technology, it wouldn't be that long before someone can invent the right gadgets to travel on other planet.

Astronauts have only traveled to Mars & the moon.Venus is too hot too visit & farther away than Mars I think.People send robots to Mars to study if there is life there.Don't believe in that stuff.Anyways, Jupiter is wahahayy too far away to visit. It could take months since it takes 4 days to get to the moon.Or at lest it used to back in Apollo13.

We already have the technology to reach other planets. We have sent probes to Mars. It's just that actual manned flights are so expensive to run, that no one wants to pay for it!

we do travel to other planets like mars...and moons also altho moons are natural satellites...we cannot travel to other planets like pluto or others due to the fact that pluto is to cold and the others ones are hot and have acid and gases..Mars only have 1% oxygen and lots of nitrigen and other gases..if we put some trees there oxygen will increase and we can live in it(Mars)
