is the marriage between a man and woman universally recognized in all countries, by all religions and social groups? if not, who doesn't and why?

Only in some subgroups, such as Orthodox, Catholic and Buddhist monks, also knight templers. . . . . .

Otherwise, it is the norm. . . .

When Hmong people get married in their native lands, it is not accepted in the Unites States as marriage. I am unsure why.

Some Arab countries don't recognize ANYTHING legal.
