That's normal! Your baby is "sitting" head up and it's legs are probably down there! others baby may have already turned. Or you may just be carrying your baby low.
You shouldn't base your pregnancy on others, because depending on your lifestyle two women due on the same dates can develop very differently! (Spoke from a mother of three who didn't "show" until her 8th month...) Here is the best piece of advice anyone can ever give you:
DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE'S MYTHS OR SUGGESTIONS...ASK YOUR DOCTOR!!!
Many things have changed over the years. The doctors that are doctors now, are trained and have been updated on many things that maybe were once said to be true, but now research has proven otherwise.
The best things for you to do is to get a book ("What to expect, when you're expecting" is REALLY good..) and ask your doctor. They don't mind...believe me, I called my doctor AT LEAST 10-15 times a day during my first pregnancy! If you don't have a doctor, you should go to Planned Parenthood, they can really help you, too, on top of it being very affordable.
Hope this helps!

Well, that is where the baby is, below the stomach in the uterus. I mean my c section scar is just below bikini line. I think as baby gets bigger and takes up more room in your torso you will feel the kicks higher (or now if he would change position).
My first seemed to stay completely on my right side through the last few months and my second had hiccoughs a LOT in utero - they do all sorts of things in there.

I am four months, I have started noticing little kicklets here and there. Mine are right there at my panty-line, too. My whole baby pooch is underneath my belly-button (between belly button and pubic area), and I assume that's normal... I guess we're both carrying low! I'm having a boy; an old wive's tale my mom used to tell me is that boys are carried lower than girls. I doubt it's true 100% of the time, but it does seem pretty much a 50-50 split between high babies and low babies.
I would say, yes, it's normal.
Congrats!

I swear my baby girl's favorite place to kick was my RECTUM. I know that sounds crazy, if not a bit gross. But that is seriously where I felt her kicking constantly, and I always felt the urge to go to the bathroom because of it!
Totally normal. They will squirm around in there and turn upside down and right side up until it is nearing delivery time....then hopefully the kid will prefer the head-down position!
Good luck!

It is normal; try not to worry about it. If it still continues into the 7-8th month, then mention it to your doctor. The baby could likely be in a breech posistion if the movements are in your lower pelvic area at that time. At 5 months they could be anywhere.

Ahh its an alien....
Just joking. I'm 7 months pregnant with my third child. This one and the one before prefer to get in them horrible low shots to my pelvic area and my bladder. Nobody is ever normal when they are pregnant, they important part is they are kicken.
Hope all goes well

i'm 7 months and i feel him that low sometimes too. it just depends on their position at the time. he might not be strong enough yet for you to feel it when he's kicking up high... give it a few weeks...

Yes it is normal. Or so my wife says. Every pregnancy is different in the way they ride. Each one of our 6 kids was situated differently.
